The Pima (or Akimel O'odham, as they are also sometimes known) are a group of Native Americans known for their fine weaving. Based in the Southwestern United States, the Pima have long produced some of the world's finest baskets and bedding. Pima cotton is super strong and high-quality. Its fiber staple isn't as long as Egyptian cotton, but it's more than long enough to produce extremely soft, lustrous, durable bedding.

The fitted sheet is quite deep--if you hate the look of fitted sheets that tug up over the edge of the mattress, you'll appreciate the generous proportions of these cotton sheets. The fitted sheet is substantial enough for mattresses up to 17 inches thick. The range of colors is simple and pure: choose from warm ivory or classic white cotton sateen sheets.
